Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the US of America is an actress as well as a performer. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier who was a nurse and Tom Bell - a television director. She is an American singer and actress. She has Polish (mother's) and German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen discovered her talents in entertainment as a young age. In 1992 she won her first role at an audition for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell, who was 13 when her mother signed to become an agent was also cast in advertisements for newspapers and television. In addition, she is beginning classes in acting for herself. Bell played an uncredited part on Polish Wedding (1998), the film that was released in 1998. Bell was part of the music and drama club of Shrine Catholic High School. In her school's show of The Wizard of Oz, Bell won the role of Dorothy. Bell went to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theatre after graduation. Bell left the school in 2001, and began playing Becky who is a character from Tom Sawyer. In the same year, she starred in Pootie Tang however, the sequence in which she appeared was cut. In the end, only her credit sequence exists. Bell appeared in Broadway for the first time in The Crucible, a revival with Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
