Awkwafina was an American performer and actress. She began by releasing funny, well-written rap songs that addressed topics like race and sexual orientation. She then expanded her fan base to Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical career as a musician on the trumpet. Born in Forest Hills Queens, she was a child of Chinese immigrants as well as Korean immigrants. Also, she received Jazz and classical training before when she began to explore hip-hop as a teenager.
